| I respect that your beliefs differ from mine. I won't tell you that you're ignorant or that you're going to endure eternal pain for choosing a different belief that me. Likewise, I expect you to respect my differing beliefs. I'd expect that you can understand that your god has no bearing on my life, and that he does not control me. In addition, I will not "go to hell" because I choose not to follow your beliefs. How would you like it if I told you that you can think what you want, but you are absolutely wrong and that MY god actually controls you, and that you're going to suffer unimaginable pain for not listening to me? It would sound ridiculous wouldn't it? I think the same of Christians who try to claim the same for those who follow all other religions (or follow no religion like me).
